Open and play a file.
In the Sailer app, you can play and control your audio file using the waveform view and playback controls.
You can also adjust playback options to change playback speed and enable repeat playback.
Open a file
Sailer is fully integrated with the iOS Files system. This allows you to browse and open your files directly within the app, just like in the Files app.

Go to the Sailer app
on your iPhone.
- Tap a file to open it.
Play a file

Go to the Sailer app
on your iPhone, open a file.

Tap
in the Player screen.

To change the playback position, do any of the following:
- Drag the slider to move quickly.

Drag the waveform left or right across the playhead.
You can pinch open to zoom in for even greater detail.
For additional control over your audio file, tap any of these buttons:

Jump back 30 seconds. To change the number of seconds you skip back, tap the Settings button on the browser screen, then tap Back. |

Jump back to the previous marker or the beginning. |

Jump forward to the next marker or the end. |

Change the playback speed
You can play a file at a faster or slower speed, from 0.25x to 4.0x.

Go to the Sailer app
on your iPhone, open a file.

Tap
, then tap Playback Settings.

Do any of the following:

Tap the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons.
You can change the step value (0.01 to 0.25) by tapping the number next to the buttons.
- Tap a preset speed button

Play a file on repeat
You can set a file to play continuously, so that it plays to the end and then starts over from the beginning.

Go to the Sailer app
on your iPhone, open a file.

Tap
, then tap Playback Settings.
- Turn on Repeat Track
Note: Repeat Track is ignored when you have a selection for playback.
